Hi and welcome to Kismet Manchester Terriers! I am Mary Gonzalez and live in the beautiful city of Amarillo, with my three 4-legged kids, and my beautiful daughter.
As you noticed, I referred to my dogs as my kids. They live in a home setting, sharing my personal living accommodations, and enjoy running in and out through their doggie door. They enjoy fresh air and sunbathing outside anytime they want to, and yes, in the winter time they occasionally enjoy running and playing in the snow. They get to go to outings at the park, stores, conformation classes, as well as other training classes.
At Kismet, all Manchester Terriers are health tested, enjoy an excellent diet consisting of The Honest Kitchen Raw Dehydrated "Force", Taste of the Wild kibble, as well as once a week treat of either chicken necks, wings, or raw bones to help keep their teeth gleaming.
Our Manchester's are an important part of our family. When we decided to add another dog to our family I started by doing a lot of research, and stumbled into Toy Manchester Terriers.
When searching for a breeder, I kept being asked if I wanted a pet quality or a potential show quality dog, and that is what started me on the path to the conformation world of AKC Dog Shows.
I attended 2 shows and was hooked! Shortly thereafter I acquired my first show potential Toy Manchester Terrier, "Chance." Chance was 10 months old, and had never been worked with, so you can imagine what everyone at the kennel club’s handling class thought when I attended my first few classes with Chance! It was a learning experience for both of us, and we entertained the other Students at the same time!
Everyone was amazed on how quickly both Chance and I learned. When we came home from our second show weekend, with a 4-point Major, they were very proud of both of us.
I truly enjoy showing my Manchester Terriers, and the occasional dogs I take to shows for friends who are unable to attend a show.
Hopefully I will meet you sometime and share my wonderful experiences associated with the owning and exhibiting the Manchester Terrier!

We want to thank all of the great judges who gave us the opportunity to show what a beautiful and correct Manchester Julie truly is, and who gave her the recognition. Julie finished the year being the #3 TMT in the country for Eukanuba, and earning the honor of being invited to Westminster in February 2007 by being the #4 Toy Manchester Terrier.
